Le Billot de Boucher is situated in the historic village of Carcoar, along the oak-lined banks of the Belubula River. Carcoar is the third oldest settlement west of the Blue Mountains and is nestled in a small sheltered valley. Carcoar is three and a half hours west of Sydney by car and a leisurely 40 minute drive from either Bathurst, Orange or Cowra. The village is a popular tourist destination, reminiscent of a traditional English village.
